Fireman Arthur J. Kinsella

Fireman Arthur J. Kinsella, badge #846, served in the U.S. Army during World War I. He was appointed on 6/5/1918, and he was assigned to Truck 2 on 6/6/1918. On 7/1/1918, he transferred to Squad 2. On 11/7/22, Squad 2 became Engine 30. He later transferred to Engines 30,17,15 and 27. On 5/28/1938 he was driving the Hose Wagon to an alarm when he had a heart attack and died. Another F/M riding the step of the Wagon got to the ignition and steering wheel to bring the rig to a stop. He was 41 years old at the time of his death.
