Captain Thomas F. Martin

Captain Thomas F. Martin, badge #198, served in the U.S. Army during WWII with the 168th Infantry. He was appointed on 11/16/1941. On 5/1/1946, he transferred to Engine 10. On 7/30/1950, he was promoted to Captain and assigned to Engine 29 on 8/1/1950. On 6/13/1969, Captain Martin did not report downstairs after his 14 hour night shift. He was found in the Captain’s quarters dead from a heart attack. He was 57 years old at the time of his death.
